Simon Eccles is the Medical Director for NHS Connecting for Health.  He has responsibility for many clinical aspects of individual programmes in NHS CFH and is directly responsible for the National Clinical Leads.

Rick is a Director of the Primary Care Foundation which was established in 2006 to develop and spread best practice in unscheduled, emergency and primary care.  The Primary Care Foundation has been commissioned by the Department of Health to carry out a series of reviews and initiatives into urgent care outside hospital.

Pat commenced her nurse training in 1977 at University College Hospital London and upon qualifying worked predominantly within surgery and Intensive Care in senior nurse roles. In 1989 as she had two young children she took a night nurse practitioner post and left in 1992 to train as a Journalist.

 

Jayne Taylor

Starting out as a nurse and then a health visitor, Jayne moved into nurse education in 1987. After working as a lecturer and senior lecturer she became Head of Nursing and Midwifery in Suffolk in 1994 and Dean of Health in 2000.

Chris is currently seconded to NHS East Midlands as the programme director leading the development of a new regional Major Trauma system and an integrated system for emergency and urgent care telephone access.
