Chris Boyce
Chris is currently seconded to NHS East Midlands as the programme director leading the development of a new regional Major Trauma system and an integrated system for emergency and urgent care telephone access.
The East Midlands has recently been announced as one of the national pilot sites for the new 3 digit telephone number and plans to go live mid 2010.
Previous to this she spent two and a half years with the East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) as their Director of Business Development and Community Relations. Her career has spanned nursing, public health, primary and prison healthcare and she has worked extensively with local authorities and the voluntary sector.
She lists in her career highlights being a backing singer on a safer sex record and working on a local market stall supported by Barbara Windsor on World Aids Day selling condom earrings!
