Paul Mears

Paul Mears has been Chief Operating Officer with South Devon Healthcare since April 2009. Prior to this Paul was Director of Operations with Torbay Care Trust where he led the integration of frontline community health and social care services.
In his current role Paul has responsibility for the operational performance of the trust as well as leading the service improvement agenda.
Paul is also the lead for the trust in its work as one of the 16 national Integrated Care pilots aimed at improving the pathways of care across acute, community and social care.
Prior to joining the NHS in 2003 Paul worked in variety of private sector roles at organisations including Eurostar and British Airways.
